where Group of Seven painter Franklin Carmichael grew up – twelve detached brick houses built in the 1880s.

The west facade of the New Toronto Public Library at Bathurst & Fort York Blvd features a steel mural of digitized fins based on my illustration for Margaret Atwood’s poem “The Planters” from THE JOURNALS OF SUSANNA MOODIE, 1980.
The new ILLUSTRATED JOURNALS OF SUSANNA MOODIE has been re-issued, now in bookstores, or can be purchased online.
